How I Made $20K in A Month as a Full-Time Student
Who knew graduation photography could rake in $20k?
I considered this to be the first pot of gold I’ve made for myself. For context, I launched a graduation photography side hustle with zero marketing spend. $20k seemed impossible when I started setting up my business this year, especially since I procrastinated and didn’t start marketing until late March (most photographers begin in January/February). Still, I knew $20k revenue was possible: two years ago, my dear friend/mentor Rafael Bitanga pulled it off. With time against me, I leaned on my creativity, trust in my business instincts, and my commitment to serve others.
One caveat I want to mention if that for your side hustle, you cannot be in it just for the money. You have to enjoy the process and be internally motivated to do good work in order to succeed. The money was a definitely bonus, built on top on the intention to serve others and make people look the best in their once-in-a-lifetime graduation.
